With the development of China's gas industry, the scale of gas supply, types of gas sources and types of gas wall-mounted furnaces are increasing all over the country. More and more cities with multiple gas sources and the composition and proportion of gas sources are changing constantly, resulting in noise when gas wall-mounted furnaces work. Because wall-hanging furnace works for a long time during heating period, especially at night, this problem is more prominent. In order not to affect the mental health of users, the new national standard GB25034-2010 clearly stipulates that the noise of wall-hanging furnace should be less than 65 dB. However, under some special conditions, gas wall-mounted furnace with large capacity and closed combustion chamber structure will produce larger combustion noise and even combustion oscillation, which will cause great psychological burden and mental pressure to users.

Therefore, attention should be paid to the problem of noise and oscillation in the design of gas wall-mounted furnace to ensure that the output flow characteristics of gas proportional control valve match the whole system and eliminate noise fundamentally. The following author combines the matching experience, through the analysis of the factors affecting the noise of the gas wall-mounted furnace, takes measures to eliminate and control the noise, and correctly uses the gas proportional control valve and other important components in the design of the gas wall-mounted furnace.

1. Analysis of the Influencing Elements of Combustion Noise

Noise is generated by the irregular non-periodic vibration of the sound source, or by the irregular combination of different frequencies and intensity of sound. The noise caused by gas wall-mounted furnace mainly includes the following kinds:
(1) Mechanical noise: It is caused by solid vibration. On the wall-mounted furnace, when the fan rotates, the impeller and shell will produce vibration and mechanical noise.
